The Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, an hours drive from Cape Town, has great outdoor venues and unique mountainous landscapes, a pristine coast-line dotted with rocky coves, boulder strewn slopes and tranquil beaches.

Day hiking trails, meandering Palmiet waters, wind swept dunes and superb Cape sand stone mountainous crags amount to creating an area of intrigue and wild reality, a playground for the adventurous spirit.

Betty's Bay is found in the heart of this Reserve and offers many attractions:

The Harold Porter Botanical Gardens hosts an array of short walks through their floral splendour, up Disa Kloof and Leopards Gorge.

Stony Point Jackass Penguin Colony is a main-land breeding ground for these unique birds.

Whaling Station relics and a slipway used in the early 1900's to process the Southern Right Whale.

A selection of white sanded beaches, prized by surfers and anglers alike.

Cape Nature Kogelberg Reserve offers a variety of hiking trails meandering along the Palmiet River or through mountainous forests and valleys.
